Nico - Chelsea Girl

Nico became synonymous with the New York art scene of the 1960s through her work with Andy Warhol and The Velvet Underground - but arguably her greatest and most significant contribution was her series of Gothic-inspired solo albums arranged by another member of the group, John Cale. She enjoyed an intermittent solo career for the remainder of her life, interspersing her recording and touring work with minor art film roles.
