The Arcade Fire first came together in the summer of 2003 in Montreal. Before that, Win Butler met Regine Chassagne while she was performing jazz standards in their hometown and they decided to team up. The two became close to each other and wrote song after song. Soon after, Tim Kingsbury, Richard Parry, and Win's little brother, William, joined the band and they released a self-titled EP "Arcade Fire".
"Neon Bible" is their second official album.
